Risky choice from The Abstract.
Q-Tip's last two albums were shelved by record labels and remain commercially unreleased. So, hooking up with
Nigel Godrich - the dude most well known for producing
Radiohead, but he's also worked with
Beck,
Travis,
Pavement and
Paul McCartney - isn't the most commercial choice. You gotta respect Tip for sticking with his vision, damn the consequences.
It's good that Tip will be getting back in the public eye this summer by reuniting with
A Tribe Called Quest for the
Rock The Bells tour.
