I really should stop writing about rumors that circulate online. But today music websites went crazy repeating a quote Jimmy Page made while promoting the Led Zeppelin collection Mothership while in Japan. He said that if the band were to tour, it would have to wait for the fall. “Robert Plant also had a parallel project running and he’s really busy with that project, certainly until September, so I can’t give you any news.” Of course, this is a reference to Robert's tour with Alison Krauss. Meanwhile, Plant was apparently at a Knicks game recently, and was interviewed at halftime. On a Zep tour, he said "You never know what is around the corner." But I don't think Zeppelin will be playing Bonnaroo (although I think Plant and Krauss are) or Austin City Limits or any other summer festival.
