Tom Freund is an artist I haven't thought about much lately. I remember hearing him on the local station WFUV, there was this one song "Digs" that I really liked from his 1998 album North American Long Weekend. I know he recorded an EP with Ben Harper, but I could never find it. Hearing his music, I could see how they could be good collaborators, but Ben's songs just stuck with me more.Anyway, I just discovered that Ben produced Tom's latest album, Collapsible Plans, which is really cool. It features new songs, but also some re-recordings of older ones. You can buy the album here.
