U2's new album has both a title and a release date. No Line On The Horizon will be out on March 3! They are taking pre-orders at Amazon already, and there's like five different versions of the album, depending on how much deluxe stuff you want. I'm just getting the regular version on CD for $9.99.Even after Zooropa and Pop threatened to make the band irrelevant (not to me - I love both albums), All That You Can't Leave Behind brought them back to the mainstream in a big way and How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb kept them there. There has never been a band whose new albums have mattered so much, for so long, as U2's. It will be interesting to see if the mass public still cares about their new music as much this time around. I, for one, think they will.
