What is "pehdtsckjmba," you ask? It's the buzz word for this summer's big tours, according to Tom Waits. Yeah, right.Check out his website - he posted a video from his "press conference" announcing his summer tour. Pretty funny stuff. But it's a bummer that he isn't doing any NY dates . He is one artist that I've always hoped to see live, and so far, I've never had the chance.
I know a lot of fans like his '70s or '80s stuff best. My favorite album by him, though, is 1999's Mule Variations. I don't know if he'd even do any songs from that one. Still, even if he doesn't play the songs you want to hear, I'm sure a Tom Waits concert would never get boring.
