I've heard of Camera Obscura, but didn't really listen to them. Today, I read a post on snark blog Idolator that read like an impassioned plea to check them out, so I did. They are a Scottish pop band, who the writer feels is ignored by the indie-skewing music journalists of today, and since they don't have a "story" or a "hook," they are overlooked. I enjoyed the song and video "The Sweetest Thing," and I thought you might too. They remind me a bit of Neko Case or Jenny Lewis.
