IT'S OFFICIAL: THE ROOTS CAN MAKE ANYONE COOL

... even Christopher Cross. They backed him on a recent episode of Jimmy Fallon 's show and "Ride Like The Wind" came off pretty... well, rocking! The last time I saw Chris Cross, it was pretty corny. But thanks to The Roots, this came off pretty cool. Michael McDonald I guess was an unannounced guest, and Cross himself rocked a pretty face-melting guitar solo. Dude also had a good sense of humor, letting everyone wear the yacht hats (a reference to his being dubbed "yacht rock").
