I'm not a gamer, but I almost thought about getting a guitar hero set up when Metallica got their own version of the game (and ditto for Aerosmith). This Beatles one may get me to break down and shell out.On 09/09/09 they are releasing thier own branded version of Rock Band - see the trailer at thier website. Pretty awesome. A while back, I may have asked if young kids (the main market for video games) would care about this. That was before the film Across The Universe: that movie actually brought the band to the hallowed "next generation" of fans. Every older artist says that their music is reaching a "new generation." Of course, The Beatles are not "most bands," but most of the time that's hype and spin. But with Across The Universe, it really happened.
