Adam Yauch sent fans an email saying that he's making a quick recovery from the surgery he had to remove a cancerous tumor in his neck. He also thanked Coldplay and Jay-Z for covering Beastie Boys songs at the recent All Points West Festival in New Jersey, which the B-Boys were scheduled to headline (they cancelled at the last minute, and Jay-Z replaced them on the bill). Here's hoping that he and the Beasties return to active service soon.

ADAM YAUCH: FEELING BETTER
Adam Yauch sent fans an email saying that he's making a quick recovery from the surgery he had to remove a cancerous tumor in his neck.
