Ryan Adams is kind of a renaissance man: not only can he tackle all kinds of music, from alt-country (a genre he claims to detest) to metal, punk, and Smiths-style music and he's even been a sideman to Phil Lesh of The Grateful Dead. But his abilities extend beyond music. His paintings are going to go on display at the Morrison Hotel gallery in NYC next month, and he's also started a video game blog.
