THE RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS TO RETURN... NEXT YEAR?
Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith just told Billboard's Gary Graff that the band plan to get back together in the fall to start working on their next album. He also says that he has another group, The Meatbats, who do instrumental music. It's him and some other musicians that he met while working on former Deep Purple/Black Sabbath member Glenn Hughes' solo album - guitarist Jeff Kolman and keyboardist Ed Roth. Of course, right now Smith is working with Chickenfoot, alongside Sammy Hagar, Michael Anthony and Joe Satriani. I'm mostly excited to hear the return of the Chili Peppers. They make me feel good to be alive.
