The bad news: the totally unhyped (and maybe unannounced) Spinal Tap "Unstoppable" tour of 2009 has been cancelled (see letter to the band here).The good news: another band is touring and performing acoustic versions of the Spinal Tap songs you know and love. Actually, the band doesn't even have a cool name: it's Harry Shearer, Christopher Guest and Michael McKean. They'll also be playing music from the film A Mighty Wind. Now that sounds like a good time. The only question: who will be the percussionist?
